One slot is one account working at a time
A parallel farming slot measures simultaneous capacity. Ten active slots allow up to ten accounts to farm at once. The account list is a separate figure: importing more accounts does not automatically increase how many can work together.
For example, sixty ready accounts and ten slots could mean ten farming and fifty queued. This illustrates capacity, not completion time. Another eligible account can use an available slot while the farm runs; it is not permanently assigned to one account.
Read the queue alongside the working count
Queued accounts are waiting to be processed. The account list also distinguishes errors and scheduled retries, so not every account outside the farming count is immediately ready. An account waiting for its scheduled retry does not occupy a farming slot during that wait.
If the working count is below your active capacity, inspect account states and the farm status before buying more slots. Missing credentials, an account error, a stopped farm or an unavailable service need different next steps. An unused slot tells you there is capacity; it does not explain why work has not started.
Completed is the result of a farming cycle
In the weekly drop workflow, completed accounts have finished the current farming cycle. They should be considered separately from accounts still waiting for work. The account action for returning a completed account to the queue asks for confirmation because it starts a new cycle in the service.
Returning an account does not reset Steam’s weekly reward eligibility. Before doing it, check why you want another run and review the account’s current progress and collected items. Repeatedly reopening completed accounts is not a substitute for understanding whether a new weekly drop is actually available.
Capacity also has an active period
Subscriptions provide a chosen number of parallel slots for their active period. You can buy the quantity you need rather than matching the full size of the account list. Review the subscription dates as well as its slot count, especially when you have several purchases with different activation times.
A purchased subscription starts its period when explicitly activated and continues to expire while farming is stopped. Stopping and restarting the queue does not pause or renew that period. Prepare the accounts first, then activate additional capacity when you are ready to use it.
Plan from observations, not a fixed throughput claim
Start by comparing ready accounts, occupied slots and queue movement over your own runs. A long queue with consistently occupied slots suggests a different situation from a long queue with repeated account errors. Only the first situation directly points toward a possible need for more simultaneous capacity.
Record completed cycles and inspect collected items separately from slot utilization. Account progress, game availability and interruptions can change the time a run takes. More slots can run more eligible accounts together, but they do not guarantee a completion deadline, a particular drop or an amount of income.
